Day 1: Arrival in Paro

Day 3: Hike to Bumdrak

Day 6: Hike to Lungchutse
Early in the morning, after breakfast, drive to Dochula pass (3,150m/10,335ft) which offers panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges Start the hike to Lungchutse, which takes about 4 hours roundtrip and offers stunning views of the mountains and the Punakha valley After the hike, drive to Punakha for overnight stay
Day 7: Hike to Hokatsho
After breakfast, visit the Punakha Dzong, a beautiful fortress-monastery located at the confluence of two rivers .Drive to the trail head for the hike to Hokatsho, which takes about 3 hours roundtrip and offers scenic views of the Punakha valley and the surrounding countryside Return to the hotel for overnight stay in Punakha.
Day 8: Punakha sightseeing
Visit Chimi Lhakhang and Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, Return to Paro After breakfast, drive to Chimi Lhakhang, a temple dedicated to the divine madman, Lama Drukpa Kuenley Take a short hike to the temple, which is located in the midst of rice fields and scenic countryside After the visit, drive to Wangdue Phodrang Dzong, a historic fortress-monastery located in the town of Wangdue Phodrang .
