15 Day Nationwide Tour

Day 1: Arrive in Paro Fly into Paro and meet your guide at the airport. After lunch, visit the National Museum and Paro Rinpung Dzong.

Day 2: Hike to Taktsang Monastery Hike to the famous Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched on a cliffside 900 meters above the Paro valley.

Day 3: Paro to Thimphu Drive to Thimphu, the capital of Bhutan. En route, stop at the Tamchog Lhakhang iron bridge.

Day 4: Thimphu sightseeing Visit the Memorial Chorten, National Library, Folk Heritage Museum, and the Changangkha Lhakhang.

Day 5: Thimphu to Punakha Drive to Punakha, stopping at the Dochula Pass en route. Visit the Punakha Dzong, one of Bhutan’s most beautiful fortresses.

Day 6: Punakha sightseeing Visit Chhimi Lhakhang, the fertility temple, and hike to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten.

Day 7: Punakha to Phobjikha Drive to Phobjikha Valley to see the endangered black-necked cranes (in season). Spend the night in Phobjikha.

Day 8: Phobjikha to Trongsa After breakfast, drive to Trongsa, visiting the Trongsa Dzong and the Ta Dzong museum.

Day 9: Trongsa to Bumthang Drive to Bumthang, a cultural heartland of Bhutan. Visit the Jakar Dzong and the Jambay Lhakhang temple.

Day 10: Bumthang sightseeing Visit the Kurje Lhakhang, Tamshing Lhakhang, and the Mebar Tsho (Burning Lake).

Day 11: Bumthang to Mongar Drive to Mongar, a town perched on a hillside overlooking the valley.

Day 12: Mongar to Trashigang Drive to Trashigang, the easternmost district of Bhutan. Visit the Gom Kora temple en route.

Day 13: Trashigang sightseeing Visit the Trashigang Dzong, and the Radhi Village, known for its traditional weaving.

Day 14: Trashigang to Samdrup Jongkhar Drive to Samdrup Jongkhar, a border town with Assam in India. Visit the Zangtopelri Lhakhang and the local market.

Day 15: Departure- Drive to the border and cross into Assam India. Say goodbye to your guide and fly out from Guwahati Airport
