Day 1: Arrival in Bhutan
Transfer to Paro Upon arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be met by your guide and driver and transferred to your hotel. You can spend the day settling in and exploring the town of Paro.
Day 2: Fishing in Paro Chhu
Today, you will obtain your fishing permit and head to Paro Chhu for your first day of fishing. Paro Chhu is known for its abundant brown trout and rainbow trout populations. You will have a local fishing expert guide you and provide equipment.
Day 3: Fishing in Punakha Chhu
After breakfast, you will drive to Punakha Chhu, a scenic river that flows through Punakha valley. You will spend the day fishing for brown trout and Himalayan trout with your guide.
Day 4: Sightseeing in Punakha
Today, you will take a break from fishing and explore Punakha valley, including a visit to the Punakha Dzong, the largest and most beautiful dzong in Bhutan. You can also visit the Chimi Lhakhang temple, known for its fertility blessings.
Day 5: Fishing in Wang Chhu
After breakfast, you will drive to Wang Chhu, a river that flows through Thimphu valley. You will spend the day fishing for brown trout and Himalayan trout with your guide.
Day 6: Sightseeing in Thimphu
Today, you will take a break from fishing and explore Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. You can visit the National Memorial Chorten, the Buddha Dordenma statue, and the Tashichho Dzong.
Day 7: Fishing in Paro Chhu
Today, you will return to Paro Chhu for another day of fishing. You can try out different fishing techniques and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Day 8: Departure from Bhutan
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure flight. You can take one last look at the beautiful scenery of Bhutan and reminisce about your fishing adventures
