White Water Rafting

Day 1: Arrival in Paro 

Sightseeing Upon your arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and driver who will take you to your hotel. After some rest, you will visit the National Museum of Bhutan, which houses a collection of Bhutanese art, artifacts, and religious thangkas. Afterward, you will visit the Rinpung Dzong, a fortress-monastery that is one of the most iconic landmarks in Bhutan.

Day 2: Thimphu Sightseeing 

After breakfast, you will drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. In Thimphu, you will visit the King’s Memorial Chorten, a stupa built in honor of the third King of Bhutan. You will also visit the National Library, which houses a vast collection of ancient Buddhist manuscripts and texts. Afterward, you will visit the Buddha Dordenma, a massive statue of Buddha that overlooks the entire Thimphu valley.

Day 3: Punakha Sightseeing 

After breakfast, you will drive to Punakha, the old capital of Bhutan. On the way, you will stop at the Dochula Pass, which offers panoramic views of the Himalayan Mountains. You will also visit the Chimi Lhakhang, a temple dedicated to the divine madman, Lama Drukpa Kuenley. Afterward, you will visit the Punakha Dzong, which is located at the confluence of two rivers and is one of the most beautiful and historic fortresses in Bhutan.

Day 4: Punakha Pho Chhu ( Male river ) – Rafting Day 1

 Today, you will experience the thrill of white water rafting on the Pho Chhu River. This river is known for its thrilling rapids and stunning scenery. You will spend the day rafting down the river and enjoying the beautiful natural surroundings. In the evening, you will camp on the riverbank and enjoy a delicious dinner.

Day 5: Mo Chhu ( Female river ) – Rafting Day 2

After breakfast, you will continue your white water rafting adventure on the Mo Chhu River. This river is also known for its exciting rapids and scenic beauty. You will spend the day rafting down the river and enjoying the wilderness. In the evening, you will camp on the riverbank and have a tasty dinner.

Day 6: Punakha to Paro After breakfast, you will drive back to Paro. Enroute, visit the Simtokha Dzong, a fortress-monastery that is the oldest dzong in Bhutan. In Paro, you can spend the rest of the day at your leisure, exploring the town and relaxing.

Day 7: Tiger’s Nest Hike

 After breakfast, hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery, one of the most famous landmarks in Bhutan. The hike takes about 2-3 hours each way, and you will be rewarded with stunning views of the monastery perched on a cliff, surrounded by breathtaking scenery. After the hike, you can relax and enjoy the beauty of Paro.

Day 8: Departure 

After breakfast, your guide and driver will take you to the airport for your departure flight.
