Tour Plan
Day 1: Arrive Paro International Airport
- Paro & Thimphu Acclimatization Day!
- Get blessings at the oldest temple Kichu lhakhang, built in 629 AD by a Tibetan king.
- Visit Paro Ta Dzong, an ancient watch tower turned into one of the best museums of Asia.
- Rinpung Dzong “Fortress of the heap of Jewels.”.
- Free to roam around Thimphu
- Overnight in Paro/ Uma Como 5* (Alt; 2320m).
Day 2: Discovering Punakha & Wangdue (78km/ 3hr)
- En route stop by Dochula pass (3150m) to enjoy spectacular views of the eastern Himalayan mountain
- Walk on the 200m suspension bridge above Phochu river to Gidagom village
- In evening, hike along the Metshina village to Chimi lhakhang, a solitary “fertility temple” where a childless couple who comes to pray is usually blessed with a child.
- Overnight Punakha & wangdue/ Uma Como 5* (Alt; 1240)
Day 3: Day Excursion to Talo & Nobgang Village
- Hike in the cool morning to Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten (1hour). The stupa stands proudly above the Punakha valley, offering a beautiful view of the countryside and hills below.
- Drive to Talo and Nobgang village, the native village of the four Queen mothers. These villages are spread out on the hillsides and are famous for being very clean and tidy compared to other villages in Punakha.
- Visit the Sangchen Lhundup Nunnery along- side the hill and spend time with the nuns
- Overnight in Wangdue & Punakha/ Uma Como 5*
Day 4: Thimphu Cultural Tour.
- After breakfast dive to Thimphu. Visit Mothithang Takin Preserve.
- Buddha Dordenma Statue, which offers a spectacular view of Thimphu
- Visit the General Post Office for personalized postage stamps with your own photo for
- The Tashichhoe Dzong, the main secretariat building, the office of the King and Throne room and
- also, the house of the State Monastic
- Farmers Weekend Market. Try some organic fruits & nuts.
- In the evening, drive to Paro.
- Overnight in Paro/ Uma Como 5*
Day 5 : Getaway to Dzongdakha & Paro Detour
- After breakfast drive to Paro. Start Zuri Hike from Ta Dzong (National Museum), Paro. This moderate 2–3 hour trail winds through peaceful pine forests and offers panoramic views of Paro valley.
- Rent a bike and ride through the beautiful valley of Paro and interact with the locals in Paro( Optional) Or visit a local school and interact with the students
- In evening, leisurely stroll around Paro town and shop for souvenir.
- Overnight in Paro/ Uma Como 5*
Day 6: Day excursion to Haa Valley
- On rise drive on a scenic countryside to the pristine Haa Valley, it was closed to outsiders till 2001.
- Stop at Chelela Pass, the highest motorable pass in Bhutan. (3988m)
- Enjoy panoramic views of Mount Jomolhari and surrounding peaks.
- Hike along the ridge to the Chele La Pass Hike or Sky Burial Site (1.5-2 hours), a serene location with prayer flags and sacred significance
- Descend back to Chelela Pass and drive to Haa Valley (45 minutes)
- Explore Haa town and experience the local culture
- Evening drive back to Paro
- Overnight in Paro/ Uma Como 5*
Day 7: Excursion to Mystical Taktsang
- After a wholesome breakfast, hike up the forested path to Taktsang Monastery, also known asTiger’s Nest, Bhutan’s most famous and scenic icon. Tiger’s Nest clings to sheer cliffs of 900m above Paro
- steep and takes about 4-5hrs round
- Lunch at the hillside cafe with close Tiger’s Nest view.
- Overnight in Paro/ Uma Como 5*
Day 8: Depart from Paro International Airport
- Our representative will bid you farewell at the airport. Tashi Delek!

Good to know
We currently offer two payment methods for tourists to transfer payments for Bhutan tours: Wire Transfer and Wise. However, both methods incur a wire transfer fee of $40 to $50, as Wise payments also require a final transfer to Bhutan via wire.
