Day 1: Arrival in Paro and Transfer to Thimphu

  • Arrival in Paro: Upon your arrival at Paro International Airport, you will be greeted by your guide and transferred to Thimphu, Bhutan’s capital.
  • Welcome Ceremony: Enjoy a traditional Bhutanese welcome with tea and an introduction to your wellness retreat.
  • Evening Yoga and Meditation: Start the retreat with a calming yoga session followed by a guided meditation to help you unwind and adjust to the peaceful surroundings of Bhutan.
  • Healthy Bhutanese Dinner: Savor a nourishing dinner made from fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients.
  • Overnight Thimphu

Day 2: Exploring Thimphu and Yoga Practice

  • Morning Yoga and Pranayama: Start your day with a gentle yoga session and pranayama (breathing exercises) to energize your body and calm your mind.

Day 4: Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery

  • Morning Yoga and Breakfast: Start your day with a calming yoga session followed by a wholesome breakfast.
  • Hike to Paro Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery): Embark on a scenic hike to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched high on a cliffside. The hike offers breathtaking views and a profound sense of spiritual tranquility. Spend time soaking in the beauty and peace of this sacred site.
  • Lunch at the Monastery: Enjoy a light, healthy lunch at a café near the monastery, taking in the serene surroundings and reflecting on your experience.
  • In evening, authentic Bhutanese farewell dinner at a typical village home with local liquor called “Ara.”
  • Hot stone bath, optional. River rocks are heated and dunked into a large wooden tub with herbs. This type of bath is considered to have medicinal properties of healing.
  • Overnight Paro

Day 5: Departure from Paro International Airport

  • Our representative will bid you farewell at the Airport. Tashi Delek!

Good to know

We currently offer two payment methods for tourists to transfer payments for Bhutan tours: Wire Transfer and Wise. However, both methods incur a wire transfer fee of $40 to $50, as Wise payments also require a final transfer to Bhutan via wire.

  • More than 45 days before the tour: Free cancellation
  • Within 30 days: 35% of the total cost
  • Within 21 days: 50% of the total cost
  • No-show in Bhutan: 100% of the total cost
